Senior Project Manager - Marketing Communications

Job Description:
Responsible for the management of various MarCom project managers and project coordinators along with processes and schedules within the Marketing Communication dept. of a Life Sciences comopany. Lead and supervise internal activity to execute project plans in an effective manner. Develop cost analysis system. Interface with internal clients, MarCom staff, and outside vendors/businesses. Work with project management, print/web/video production, scheduling, estimating, and fulfillment. Help to develop, recommend and means of efficiency with project schedules, cross charges. Establish and manage project budgets from both internal and external resources.

Responsibilities:
  • Management: Manage/supervise both staff and freelance project managers and project coordinators within the MarCom dept. Set tone for work team and specific goals.
  • Efficiency: Work directly with the MarCom dept. manager, production director and design director to ensure that projects are being managed efficiently and effectively. Make recommendations for improvements within the department. Work with MarCom teams to ensure that projects are delivered on a timely basis. Help to provide quality control and improve systems.
  • Metrics: Produce monthly ad hoc dept. metrics and provide status reports to Production Director. Analyze data from reports and offer suggestions to improve/streamline internal processes.
  • Process: Develop various work instructions and department protocols to ensure that projects move through the organization in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Liaison: Work with internal clients to better understand their needs for various projects and different situations. Develop direct relationships within the dept. and with other groups within the organization.
  • Estimates/Budgets: Develop accurate estimates for various projects and ensure that projects stay within estimates.
  • Vendor Management: Identify, qualify, and manage outside vendors/companies as needed.

ETL Ab Initio Developer

I am currently hiring for an experience Ab Initio Developer to work in Pleasanton on a 1 year contract. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 6 years experience in Ab Initio development. Experience with UNIX and Shell Scripting is also required. Healthcare industry experience is desired.

Please note that this contractor must work as a W2 employee of Kforce. Unfortunately, we are unable to place corp to corp. contractors for this assignment.

ETL (Ab-Initio) Developer

As an ETL developer, you will be a member of technical team to build and support complex applications using Ab Initio. You will be responsible for developing, testing, implementing and supporting applications. The candidate will be working closely with ETL Leads/Managers.

Responsibilities:
  • Coding, testing, modifying, debugging, documenting and implementation of Informatica maps.
  • Review and Analyze functional requirements, mapping documents, assist in problem solving and trouble shooting.
  • Work with different application groups and deliver effective solutions.
  • Assist in technical specifications and other deliverable documents.
  • Develop test cases and plans to complete the unit testing. Support System testing.
  • Work with multiple teams and report to technical leads.
  • Able to work in multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Production support and maintenance of applications.
  • Performance Tuning of Ab Initio Mappings, processes and load routines.

Senior Business Project Manager

One of my healthcare clients in San Francisco is hiring for a Senior Business Project Manager. This is a 5 month contract position.

Responsibilities:
 
Create and review project, proposal or plans for own projects or for those managed by other project managers, Set project objectives, Complete cost/benefit analysis, Manage scope and scope change requests, Plan and direct schedules and budgets, Monitor projects from initiation through delivery and monitor for continuous improvement, Track large-scale projects against major milestones and adjust projects as needed, Analyze, interpret, and derive meaning from data, Identify and develop contingency plans to mitigate and address risks

Implement change management activities, Take responsibility for benefits realization as well as meeting milestone and budget targets, Responsible for assembling a project team, assigning and monitoring work of team members and providing guidance and leadership, Manage project staff involved in the planning, development and implementation of complex projects, Communicate with and influence internal and external stakeholders regarding key project objectives and steps, to ensure buy-in, Train, develop, coach, and mentor others (including project managers) in multiple areas, Conduct performance appraisals of team members, Resolve issues escalated by others, Hold an in-depth understanding of the scope of a project (including project lifecycle)
  • 8-10 years project management experience
  • Strong knowledge of business process improvement and re-engineering, change management, organizational development, cost-benefit analysis and corporate communications.
  • Bachelor Degree required, Master degree preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of quality management solutions including six sigma, juran or deming.
  • PMI or Scrum methodology experience; PMP preferred.
  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus.

IT Project Manager with iMANY expertise

I have a client in South San Francisco who is actively searching for an IT Project Manager to oversee an iMany Government Pricing project. This is a part time position providing approximately 30 hours per week. Flex hours and some work from home may be an option. If the project goes well, this PM may also be levered on Informatica and Siebel CRM projects.

Requirements:
Strong IT project management experience.

Strong iMany Government Pricing system experience.
Knowledge of Informatica.
Strong knowledge of data loading.
Siebel CRM migration experience a plus.
