DESCRIPTION:
  • The Program Manager will play a central role in managing operations and projects related to vendored clinical programs. As the lead for case management programs, the PM will be responsible for execution and delivery of a suite of high touch member-facing case management programs.

Senior level infrastructure architect and design specialist with primary expertise in x86/Intel systems. Responsible for IT Infrastructure Design for Mega Projects - these are Complex in nature like DR and Scalability. Develops infrastructure design/architecture. Assesses system requirements and specifications and translates them into a physical architecture and design. Must be able to understand, capture, and document non-functional system requirements, and logical solution design upon which the physical infrastructure design will be built.



Background should include extensive hands-on (Sr. Systems Engineer) and large scale project engagement to design IT infrastructure based on requirements. This needs to include Windows Server Operating system, Microsoft Cluster Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Redhat/SUSE Linux, and VMWARE expertise.

Job Description:

Responsibilities include providing upfront analysis of initiatives against portfolio funding criteria; driving and supporting project initiation activities including securing of seed funding, setup of the project in portfolio management tools and other supporting systems. Other project initiation activities may include identifying project stakeholders, identifying and assembling project resources, and drafting project initiation documents (e.g. project charters, kick-off presentations, project proposals). The urgency of some mandated initiatives may require this position to assume project management responsibilities of small projects from start to finish. Other activities include supporting the Portfolio Manager in governance activities including creation of dashboard reports, portfolio financial tracking spreadsheet, quarterly re-forecasts, annually planning, leading status meetings and supporting individual project managers with PMLC deliverables including business case development and project financials. Responsibilities: Able to function independently and produce results that meet standards of quality, timeliness and acceptability. Minimal supervision and general direction. Performs work that is varied and moderately complex. Able to document and develop presentations ideas and approaches developed by others.
