Program Manager with nursing background

My San Francisco based client is hiring for a Program Manager with a nursing or case management background. The ideal candidate will bring 5 years program and project management experience along with RN or Case Management experience. This is a 6 month contract to hire position.

DESCRIPTION:

• The Program Manager will play a central role in managing operations and projects related to vendored clinical programs. As the lead for case management programs, the PM will be responsible for execution and delivery of a suite of high touch member-facing case management programs.
• Responsibilities include relationship management, program operations and oversight, as well as reporting and continuous quality improvement. This position provides the unique opportunity to be involved with departments across the organization and to be responsible for vital aspects of vendor relationships and contract management.
• The PM will be a key manager in the Center for Health & Wellness.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Independently manage and oversee ongoing operations between vendors and the company
• Plan and direct project initiatives from initiation through delivery and monitor for continuous improvement
• Review externally produced reporting critically and for consistency
• Produce relevant reports on process metrics, utilization metrics and cost savings estimates for internal and external customers
• Review member communications
• Manage operational budgets
• Design and document process workflows
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Escalate issues as needed
• Manage project scope and identify appropriate scope changes and direction
• Coordinate with cross-departmental team members; provide guidance and leadership
• Provide input into designing strategies for alignment with business unit goals and objectives as part of a broader management team
