CMS Business Analyst

I have a client in the Northern East Bay who is hiring for a Senior Business Analyst. This is a full time/direct hire position. Responsible for realigning the development roadmap for the Content Management System, as part of the overall eBusiness platform, including extensions required to support the international rollout of the system (addition of translation capabilities which may include third-party add-ons), improving usability for core users, and extending use deeper into the organization.

Serves as the primary point person for all CMS-related issues and enhancements requested by clients across the enterprise.
Meets regularly with business clients and CMS users to understand their needs and ensure CMS development activities are aligned with the business and properly prioritized.
Influences business decision makers with recommendations based on detailed analysis from the business point of view while consulting regularly with the Corporate IT CMS team.
Works closely with other Business Analysts to prioritize CMS enhancements within the larger Web Site Support activities.
Communicates CMS enhancements to the business clients, either in conjunction with or supplemental to Web Site Code Release business communications.
Oversees or participates in User Acceptance Testing of CMS enhancements.
May also play a lead role in the area of Site Search, User Experience optimization, and SEO optimization as part of the Global eBusiness business team.
May supervise the activities of other team members on projects.
