The day-to-day work of the Lead Business Analyst will consist of managing to the established tasks/milestones for the projects, documenting processes, identifying gaps and working at various levels of the organization to communicate progress/status and resolve issues.
Ideal candidates have the following skills/experience:
• Expert knowledge of health insurance sales and operational processes including proposals, group setup, enrollment, billing and benefit administration
• Expert knowledge of and ability to perform analyses such as, gap analysis, process mapping, root-cause analysis, risk analysis and requirements gathering
• Ability to interpret and summarize data for executive consumption, then deliver to executive audiences
• Facilitation of process improvement teams to resolve business issues and improve processes
• 3-5 years experience managing medium-sized projects (either in a consulting role or a team-based facilitation role) where you have evaluated opportunities for improvement in operational performance, created plans to address the issues, vetted solutions and implemented the fixes
• Demonstrated self-starter personality who can attack complex business problemswith little guidance and direction
• Experience using Visio and MS Office tools
Education/Requirements:
B.A/B.S. degree and 3-5 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
