Technical Trainer - Data Warehouse

Instructional Designer/Technical Trainer
San Francisco (must be on-site Monday-Friday)
3 month+ Contract

Must have relational database background including ability to read and interpret data (ER) models and write basic SQL, experience in one or more query/reporting applications such as Business Objects or SAS, and top notch communications and content creation skills. Healthcare data experience strongly preferred.

Researches, designs and delivers classroom, computer-based and Intranet-delivered instructional materials. Employs appropriate instructional design methodologies to ensure that the training developed is relevant and provides the knowledge and skills required to improve job performance. Is able to function independently with minimal oversight and direction. May instruct and guide lower level technical professionals. Assignments are broad in nature and complex in scope. Typically designs and develops approaches that are implemented by others. Ability encompasses in-depth knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of particular field of specialization. Generally requires 5 to 8 years of professional experience directly related to all aspects of the primary product, program or technology. Fully competent professional.
